It is to the US's advantage to keep the NATO military partnership solid, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says.
Stoltenberg offered the comments to correspondents in Belgium on Wednesday, days after U.S. Conservative official leader Donald Trump said he would "energize" Russia to go after individuals who miss their spending targets.
"A solid NATO is likewise really great for the US, on the grounds that through NATO, the US has something no other [major power has], and that is in excess of 30 companions and partners in NATO and that makes the US more grounded and more secure," he said.
