 Global star Olivia Rodrigo will make her Australian live debut in 2024, with the 'Good 4 U' singer extending her current GUTS world tour. The three-time Grammy award-winning artist will perform two concerts each in Melbourne and Sydney in October, adding to the 82 GUTS shows globally. "The Europe leg of the GUTS world tour has been wonderful so far! So much luv for everyone who has been coming to jump and sing and scream! Asia and Australia dates just announced! Former US diplomat pleads guilty to spying for Cuba

A former career US diplomat who had served as the US ambassador to Bolivia has pleaded guilty to working as an agent of Cuba for more than 40 years. Victor Manuel Rocha, 73, was charged with secretly passing information to the communist-run Cuban government since 1981 while working for the US state department. On Thursday, he changed his initial not guilty plea in a court in Miami. He is due to be sentenced at a hearing on 12 April. The move brings one of the highest profile espionage cases between Cuba and the US to an unexpectedly rapid conclusion. The Cuban spying case that has shocked the US government Thursday's court hearing was supposed to be about how to handle classified documents involved in the case, according to the Miami Herald. Alabama's legislature pushes to protect IVF

Republicans in Alabama will introduce a bill designed to protect access to IVF treatment, after a court ruling cast doubt on its availability. The state's top court ruled earlier this month that frozen embryos have the same rights as children and people can be held liable for destroying them. While it did not ban or restrict IVF, it created a legal headache for clinics and some pulled their services. The bill is expected to be introduced in the Alabama Senate on Tuesday. Republicans hold a majority in the chamber and Senator Tim Melson, who is putting forward the bill, said he was confident "reasonable minds" would come together to pass it. Mr Melson, who is also a doctor, told the BBC that the issue became his priority after "a lot of people came into my office in Montgomery and explained that this is the only option they have for a family and it's in jeopardy".
